With version 4.20 most of the patches have been rewritten. Compression was introduced, as well as smarter usage of the controller memory. This results in 5-6x speedup on certain controllers, and the LIVE patch is no longer slower at logging than the normal patch.
Due to a large amount of requests, LIVE was added for VAG KWP – Advanced protocol. For the ECU’s with the TC1766 processor keep in mind that the CALRAM is very limited, so it is not possible to tune many modules in real time. The TC1767 and TC1796 do not have such issues, as the onboard memory is much more plentiful.
Support has also been added for Porsche SDI 10.4 controllers to the VAG UDS – Advanced protocol and Sim2K-141 / Sim2k-141.1 Hyundai controllers found in the Genesis Coupe.
